Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Does Clearlice™ REALLY work?
A. YES! We stand behind Clearlice™ with a full money back guarantee. We would not sell it if it did not work for everyone!!

Q Will Clearlice™ really dissolve the nits?
A. Yes. There will be some nits that do survive. This is why we provide the 100% effective nit comb. After using Clearlice™ Conditioner, use the comb to get out the last few remaining nits. There won’t be many, but there could be some. The comb will take care of them.

Q. How long can lice live on a human head?
A. Head lice can survive on a human host for about 30 days. They can live for about 48 hours off the host. A female louse lays 3-5 eggs a day. The eggs hatch in 7-10 days and it takes another 7-10 days for the louse to mature and lay their own eggs.

Q. How are head lice spread?
A. Head Lice are spread through contact. Children playing together in a playground bump heads. People sharing hats and combs and brushes can spread them. Lice do not fly, but they are great at getting from one host to another.

Q. What is FDA registered?
A. Clearlice™ products are manufactured and packaged in an FDA registered facility. This facility goes by the guidelines of the food and drug administrations cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices). The Lice remover shampoo is registered with the FDA.

Q. Do home remedies work?
A. No! Mayonnaise and Vaseline are used to smother lice. The problems with this are that you would have to leave it in for hours and you might smother some of the lice. It will not kill the nits, and you are not treating your environment (sofa, pillows, rugs. linens etc.). The lice will be back in about a week once the new eggs hatch, and your head lice infestation will be worse.

Q. What about hiring a nit picking service to come out to my house?
A. When you use the Clearlice™ system, there will not be any nits left alive. The few nits that remain after using the conditioner, will comb out with ease. Once you spray your house down and wash your linens and clothes in the detergent, you will be lice free. There will be no need to hire an expensive nit picking service that spends hours at your house combing through your child's hair with a painful metal comb.
