Q. Does Clearlice™ System REALLY work?
A. YES! We stand behind Clearlice™ with a full money-back guarantee.
Q. How long can lice live on a human head?
A. Head lice can survive on a human host for about 30 days. They can live for about 48 hours off the host. A female louse lays 3-5 eggs a day. The eggs hatch in 7-10 days and it takes another 7-10 days for the louse to mature and lay their own eggs.
Q. Do home remedies work?
A. No! Mayonnaise and Vaseline are used to smother lice. The problems with this are that you would have to leave it in for hours and you might smother some of the lice. It will not kill the nits, and you are not treating your environment (sofa, pillows, rugs. linens etc.). The lice will be back in about a week once the new eggs hatch, and your head lice infestation will be worse.
Q. Should I hire a nit-picking service to come out to my house?
A. When you use the Clearlice™ system, there will not be any nits left in your hair. The few nits that remain after using the conditioner, will comb out with ease. Once you spray your house down and wash your linens and clothes in the laundry additive, you will be lice free. There will be no need to hire an expensive nit picking service that spends hours at your house combing through your child's hair with a painful metal comb.
Q. Do I have to comb through my child's hair for hours to remove nits?
A. No. The glue the lice and nits use to stick to the hair shaft will be dissolved and most of the nits will be dead. You will use our micro-grooved comb only to remove the last few remaining (dead) nits. This will be quick, painless and easy, and will take up to 20 minutes of combing
Q. What is your return policy?
A. Clearlice™ guarantees that our products will get you and your home lice free. If you still have lice after using our products and are not completely satisfied, simply return the unused portion of the bottles and the comb and we will refund your money minus shipping costs.
Q. How many treatments are in one bottle of Clearlice™?
A. One bottle of Clearlice™ shampoo and conditioner can treat one person with long thick hair up to 3 times. If you have used over-the-counter (OTC) treatments within the past 3 weeks and you still have head lice, it may take more than one treatment of Clearlice™ to be completely head lice free. The reason you might have to do a repeat treatment is because the chemicals in the OTC treatments can actually harden the protective shell of the head lice and nits. Our household products are strong enough to treat an average size home. Clearlice™ does not contain any pesticides or chemicals and is completely safe for multiple treatments!

 |
Itching of the scalp - the body's allergic reaction to the bite or to the lice feces |
 |
Feeling the lice moving around in your hair |
 |
Red sores due to scratching |

Scratching can lead to secondary infections such as fever and swollen lymph nodes |
 |
A person may have lice for months before the itching begins |
Head lice are spread through direct contact with an infested person or item. The adult louse can survive up to 48 hours without feeding on the scalp; therefore can be found on items that have been in contact with an infested person.
Examples of items that commonly spread head lice are:
 |
Clothing such as hats, scarves, coats, and sports uniforms |
 |
Hair care items such as combs, brushes, or towels |
 |
Other objects such as pillows, beds, carpet, and stuffed animals |

 |
Head lice infestation is diagnosed by looking closely through the hair and scalp for nits, nymphs, or adult lice |
 |
Nits are the easiest to see |
 |
If you find nits more than 1/4 inch from the scalp, the infection is probably an old one and they are not viable |
 |
Nits can be distinguished from dandruff flakes as they are glued to the hair shaft, whereas dandruff can be easily slide along the hair shaft |
Bits of hair spray, dead skin scales, or loose debris may be seen on hair shafts. These move with pressure from the fingers -- nits do not.
