Clearlice is a GOD SEND!! My daughter who has very thick curly hair got lice when she was 2 years old. I tried every OTC product there was...even tried a few home remedies (olive oil, mayonnaise) and NOTHING WORKED!! Trying to get the lice comb through her thick curly hair was a nightmare! Clearlice finally ended our nightmare!! I spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on other treatments only to have it return. "Can I just tell you too, that using the clearlice spray on the comb works well for a quick hair check if you're not able to do the full treatment right away. Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. Anyway, it is a great product! I used Rid shampoo at the onset because it was the only thing readily available. I had long hair down to the middle of my back and it was a struggle to get the comb through my hair without pulling my hair out or getting it tangled in my hair. Not to mention that I had to use almost a full bottle because of the length of my hair, and the smell of the harsh chemicals was enough to make me lightheaded and feel nauseated. Just wanted to say thank you so much for this product. It really works!! We struggled for days with the "nit-picking", washing, vacuuming, etc. I went on-line to search what else we could do because the lice were not going away and the "other" product (poison) did NOT work. Clearlice is the best product on the market to get rid of "LICE". i live southern california and my daughter sleep over a friends house who just returned home from camp. my daughter woke up the next morning complaing of her head itching, so i checked it and "BAMMMM" there they were "LICE" everywhere! I WENT TO THE walgreens, cvs and purchased generic rid first and rid these did not work. so, i looked online and found (CLEARLICE). Ordered it at 6pm there time(florida) and got here friday 2pm my time.i followed these directions step by step exactly how the instructions explained. “We were at our wits end with this. We had tried EVERYTHING!! When we found Clearlice online, we were not sure if it would really work since we had already used just about every other product including a prescription. But we had no choice. I have been suffering from head lice for over 6 months. I kept getting rid of it, and it kept coming back. I guess I really never got rid of it. I could not tell, because the eggs were so tiny and they looked like flakes or dandruff. I had tried Nix, Rid, and a few other brands from the store. I ordered two different products online. I was going insane. The lice had actually taken over my life. I went to bed scratching and itching. I was cleaning everyday. I was vacuuming and washing stuff 2-3 times a day. I found this website online and ordered the complete head lice kit. I spent 3 hours spraying my house with the spray and vacuuming, and then washed all of my sheets and bedding and clothes in the Clearlice detergent. I did two, 15-minute shampoos and then conditioned for about 5 minutes. I did do some combing to remove some eggs that were glued to my hair. I went to bed and had my husband check my head the next day. He could not see anything. We have been checking it now for 5 days and still nothing. So far so good. I feel like I got my life back. I am still checking everyday, but I know that they are gone, because my head does not itch any more and I don’t see anything.

This product really does work. Most people try pesticides when they find out their children have lice. I learned first hand that those products do not work. This shampoo does kill the lice and nits. It was much easier then any other shampoo I used. And it worked in one day. I did not have to do a second treatment. I just made sure there were no nits left in my daughters’ hair by shampooing and combing for 20 minutes.

UPDATE: It has been 4 weeks and we are still lice- free. We have been using the repellent conditioner, and we think this really helps because other kids in her class are still getting sent home due to nits.

Clearlice is a great product. The only downside is that it is not sold in stores. But it is worth every penny. My daughter came home with lice and within about 3 days, we all got it. I was at my wits end when I went online looking for a treatment that works. It was pretty easy to use and we will be ordering more just to keep around in case this happens again.
YES these products do work!!! I have a 14yr old, a 12yr old and one who is now 6yrs old. We had never, ever experienced lice. My little one started kindergarten and bam! within a month of school she was infested. We completely freaked out. Once we figured out what was going on of course I ran to the store and bought everything I could find. It was not cheap! We did everything we were told but it did not get rid of these little critters. I was in a panic and my little one cried every time I came near her head. She would even try to hide the fact that she was still itching! One day I was talking to my sister and she mentioned some stuff that her sister-in-law ordered out of desperation. It worked. I immediately ordered my own and hooray my little girl was lice free after one application. I used the shampoo daily for awhile anyway and retreated with the conditioner after one week. All my girls still use the shampoo every few days just to keep the mint smell going since lice don’t like it. Thank you so much for a product that works but is not a chemical and harmful to my kids! Not to mention the fact that it smells good. My only complaint would be that the bottles of spray for the furniture etc. would be better if they were bigger or you had a gallon refill for the little spray bottles or something. I was actually just thinking the other day that I need to order another set of shampoo and conditioner/repellant since school is starting back! Want to be prepared!!!! I told the school nurse about the product as well.

After teaching elementary school for 14 years and avoiding any sort of head lice infestation, finding lice on the scalps of our children (ages 6 and 4) was unnerving. Then to find them on my husband's scalp, and for him to find them on mine - that about put me over the edge!
